The Oudegracht is the canal that meanders through Utrecht. Walk it from beginning to the end, it will take you about half an hour, and you'll have a perfect idea of all the nice neighborhoods in the intercity. At one point it will bring you to the Nieuwegracht, also a canal, which is the prettiest -and the most expensive part- of town.
