It’s popular with the Japanese for eating and drinking at any time. I'm going to take you to popular taverns and restaurants for ONLY LOCALS (NO TOURISTS!!) where the staff speaks only Japanese. I will order signature dishes and please ask me any questions. I’ll discuss not only Japanese food and drinks but also culture, traditions and history, which will be beneficial for the rest of your stay in Japan for sure! We will visit several restaurants/taverns/bar in total, where you will sample sashimi, grilled fish and skewered meat, etc. You will also have the opportunity to try UNIQUE Japanese alcoholic drinks! Witness the Naritasan Fukagawa Fudōdō fire ceremony: Visit a local Buddhist temple where you'll see a spectacle fire ritual accompanied by powerful drum beats. Manami guides you through the etiquette and photography rules. She shows scene by scene paper to help you understand the ritual as we observe it in silence. 3. Explore the Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine: Experience the calm atmosphere of this Shinto shrine, and view the impressive "Sumo rocks" and grand festival floats. Beyond just red meat, we explore a variety of Wagyu cuts, each prepared with care to showcase the full spectrum of flavors.
